General Check-up

Routine check-ups are important to maintain good oral health and to prevent the long-term dental issues such as gum disease or oral cancer. We encourage patients to meet with their dentist regularly to maintain a healthier and brighter smile.

A check-up will include a detailed examination of the mouth, teeth, and gums. The soft tissue of the mouth will be examined, and signs of oral cancer and other dental conditions will be looked out for. An X-ray may be taken if deemed necessary by your dentist. A treatment plan will be discussed if needed. Your dentist will also discuss preventative measures you can take to ensure good oral health.

New patients will complete a medical history form on their first visit; to help us gain a more detailed understanding of their condition. The first check-up will involve a more extensive examination. Your general check-up is the first step towards investing in your dental health, so please book an appointment soon!
